Wear at the extremities of the jacket and minor chipping at the head and food of the jacket. Barely visible dampstaining to a portion of the book. One of the Abbeys' most enduring books that details his love for the desert and canyons. Written after he worked as a ranger in Arches National Park. There was a small first printing and many of the firsts were read and passed around. Consequently, nice copies such as this are uncommon.
