The author, a pilot himself tells a story of the men who flew night mail planes from Patagonia, Chile, and Paraguay to Argentina in the early days of commercial aviation. Saint-Exupery would later write The Little Prince, but die in World War II Preface by Andre Gide' and translated by Stuart Gilbert. The author's first book.
