Colorado Springs: U.S. Air Force Academy. Paperback. This is a bound paperback of General Giap's history of the Battle of Dien Bien Phu in 1954 which resulted in the French abandoning Vietnam. It was apparently used in an upper division class for cadets at the Air Force Academy. It contains a number of maps of the battle and several accompanying photographs.

A near fine book in stapled wrappers with light wear to the front cover. Stated first printing of May 1, 1976 with 2,000 copies. With preface on learning from the war by Chris Robinson and an introduction by Danny Schecter. Giap was the chief strategist of the North Vietnamese forces.
