London: Gollancz, 1975. Hardcover. First British edition. A fine book in a fine dust jacket with very minor sunning to the jacket spine. One of Dick's best-known books and an important science fiction novel. Winner of the Hugo Award in 1963, the year after the U.S. edition first was published. Though published several years later, the British edition is far less common. The book is dystopian novel in which the Axis powers won World War II, leading to the United States being divided into three parts, an area controlled by the Japanese, a Nazi-controlled section, and a buffer zone between the two. Amazon produced a mini-series loosely based on the book.
