Greensboro, NC: Unicorn Press, 1973. First edition. Near fine in like dust jacket. Some toning to the rear panel and light wear to the extremities of the dust jacket. Signed and inscribed on the front free endpaper: "Very best to David. August 11, 1976--Daniel." Laid -in is† Berrigan's business card which states, "Have Charisma Will Travel (Canada Excluded). "Berrigan uses his family name and Jesuit Identification--Dan Berrigan, S. J." and describes himself as a "Apocalyptic Shit Disturber. Cosmic Dancer and Elephant Trainer." Card has his address as 220 W 98 St. Apt. 7-J, New York, NY 10025. Berrigan's brother, Philip Berrigan, has written an introduction. The book contains all the poems that Berrigan wrote during his 18 months in Danbury prison serving as part of the Catonsville Nine, for destroy draft cards.
